Sports What started in 1999 as a small soccer league of 65 kids
has grown into an organization that each year serves 1600
to 2000 children, on more than 150 teams, in six different leagues. Eagle Sports Club offers three soccer leagues,
two flag football leagues, and a summer baseball league. Eagle Sports Club recruits and equips coaches, encouraging them to build mentoring relationships and have a positive impact in the lives of the children. Also, Eagle Sports Club has leveraged its success in establishing leagues to raise
and invest over $100,000 in the renovation and maintenance
of Balduck Park on Detroit's East side.
