Eagle Sports Club Summer Baseball is for boys & girls 4 - 14 years old. Practices will begin the week of May 27th with the first games being played on Saturday, June 8th.

The Detroit Tigers will be joining us for our opening day on Saturday June 8th to celebrate the start of our season! In addition, the Tigers will be handing out tickets to all our players for the Tigers next game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, June 9th.

Games will be played at Balduck Park in Detroit.

 

 

All teams will have at least one weeknight practice at Balduck. ESC determines exact date & time for team practices.

 

Approximate Games/Practices Schedule: 

PRACTICES:

Determined by the coach, but most practices begin at or after 6pm. T-ball teams practice one night a week while all other teams practice two nights a week. If there is a specific day that doesn’t work for you to practice, please put that day on the registration.    

 

GAMES:

T-Ball (4-5 yr. olds) - Saturdays @ 10am.

Coach Pitch (6-8 yr. olds) - Saturdays @ Noon. Coach Pitch teams will also play additional games during the week later in the season. These games will try to be scheduled to replace one of the weeknight practices so later in the season teams are playing two games a week and only having one practice.

8u kid pitch, 10u, 12u & 14u: Schedule TBD. (Typically have weeknight games that start at 6pm, an occasional night game starting at 8:30pm and Saturday afternoon or night games). Note the past couple of years we have not had enough kids in the 12u or 14u divisions to have our own league so we have had to play against travel teams from all over metro Detroit. My hope this year is that we have at least 4 Eagle teams in this division. If we don't get enough kids to sign up in this division we will give everyone who is signed up the option to get a refund or to continue to play competitive.
